New Passport !

YAY new passport.... waited 2 hours for it.

Non‑compliance with a RSGC's dress code policy. Hahaha collared shirts only. I was wearing a T-shirt. So, we had to sit by the poolside.

Saw quite a few Cayennes today. I think that's the most popular Porsche in KL. Inside The Royal Selangor Golf Club, you see many nice cars, from Audi to BMW to Mercedes and Porsche. Saw a Carrera. You have your usual 7-series, 5 series and 3 series sedans.also the C and E class a few Cayennes. Saw a bright orange Cayenne outside my house..wow. Panamera has yet to be seen this time.

HTC EVO 3D

The new HTC EVO 3D is a great Android phone. 1.2 GHz dual core processor--- what?? for a phone? overpowered? Absolutely not.

1GB RAM ( My old desktop only had 512 MB of RAM)

2 cameras at the back for 3D effect. 3D pictures use .MPO file format-- currently, I can't view it on any other device.

Android 2.3 seems to be good.

The EVO had 46.497 MFLOPS and in comparison, the iPhone 4 had 31.84 MFLOPS.

There is an 8GB micro SD card that came with the phone.

The EVO has a large 4.3-inch qHD display. Also, it loads web pages faster than an average computer. Webpages look good ( even the desktop version) on the screen. So whatever can be seen on a computer, can be viewed on the EVO.

The camera is not bad. The main purpose of this phone is the 3D. 3D takes some time to get accustomed to, especially the 3D applications. 3D applications take up plenty of memory space.

Teachers' Day Celebration

In the morning, I saw a GT silver metallic Panamera AND a Boxster (N1.314956, E103.94094 approx.)

As stated above, 1 September 2011 is Teacher's day in Singapore. The hall was decorated with many balloons; some with helium (or hydrogen if you wish). Wow no cafeteria food today.

Nothing much to do. The performances ended at 9:30a.m and there was a little balloon game. zzz

We went back to class at 10:00a.m.

A white Porsche Panamera was parked in a semi-detached house. (N 1.330337, E 103.944156 approx.) Walked with Serene to the bus stop.

Fortunately, I was just in time for the bus.

As usual, I see this other black Panamera at Frankel Ave.(N1.311504, E103.920448 approx)

Biology MCQ wasn't very good...

Went to the SAFTI Military Institute today at Jurong West...

2 Maserati Quattroportes seen on PIE: 1 black & 1 silver... Other cars like the 3-series , 5-series C-class, E-class are very common.

There is a bloody biology MCQ tomorrow...

Anyway, the Panamera isn't as common as a BMW 7-series, even though it is cheaper. I think people prefer a 'limousine', as compared to a 'sports coupé ' Also, there is more legroom. Aston Martin Rapide--- not much legroom either. Surprisingly, the CLS 350 has less legroom than a E-class -.-

Chimie wasn't really good. I don't know why. Annoying bus service ----I think I waited for at least 15 minutes... Other buses, except 14 came earlier zzz. Volvo double Decker-- not bad.

Saw 3 Porsches today:- Panamera, Carrera 4S and Boxster.
