Artist Impression of Anglican High School

The Principal plans to change the façade of the school. They include the main school gate and some other areas like a study corner.
I didn't think the main gate was all that great. It's only redesigned with a different theme ( school crest etc.). Also, the land area of the school has not really been made use of fully; the location of the buildings.
A school should have columns incorporated in the building façade :)

Chemistry

I'm reading Energy Changes :)
It's connected to Thermodynamics.
H =U +pV
ΔH=Q
ΔH means enthalpy change measured in (kJ)
Q is the energy added to the system through heat
Mole is also involved here, when doing calculations in equations.
Exothermic: Heat given out
Endothermic: Heat absorbed
Bond energy- energy needed to break a chemical bond. (kJ)
Breaking bonds-require energy
Forming new bonds gives out energy
====Do the calculations here (Calculate ΔH) =======
Activation energy:-Minimum energy that reacting particles must posses for a chemical reaction to occur.
ON TO MORE SOMETHING MORE FAMILIAR
FUELS ( I've done a report on this before -.-)
-Substance that burns in air/oxygen to produce heat energy
-Exothermic
Fire----Heat, Fuel, Oxygen (Take out one, no fire produced)
Good Fuel:
Easy to ignite, not not easily flammable
Easy Storage + Transport
Little Pollution
Efficient in producing heat
Cheap, Abundant
Safe
Sources of fuel:
-Coal
-Crude oil
-Natural gas
( formed by heat and pressure on the remains of plants and animals millions of years ago)
Coal-mainly Carbon
C + O2 ------>CO2
Natural gas-methane
Excess oxygen (Methane is limiting)
CH4 (g) + 2O2 (g) → C (g) + 2 H2O (l)
Insufficient Oxygen ( Oxygen is limiting)
4CH4 (g) + 5O2 (g) → 2CO (g) + 8 H2O(l) + 2C (s)
Crude oil- mixture of hydrocarbons, separated by fractional distillation.
Hydrocarbon with more carbon atoms has a higher boiling point that one with fewer carbon atoms. Hydrocarbon with more carbon atoms collect at the bottom.
Fossil Fuels comparison
Also included: Alternative Fuels eg. Hydrogen Fuel Cell.

Basic Studio Set-up

If you are into home studio, these are the basic equipment you will need.
1. Software for recording
2.USB / FireWire Audio Interface
3 Microphones
4. Studio Monitors / Monitor Headphones
5. Midi controller or Synthesizer
If you are a beginner, that should suffice. Some other factors to look into include:
Sound Isolation, Room Acoustics, etc.
Sound isolation includes making sure that minimal sound leaks from your room. It is equally important that external sound does not interfere with your recording studio.
"A chain is only as strong as its weakest link"
You can mount acoustic material/padding onto walls to absorb sound. Careful placement of soft furniture and the use of carpets would help.
As for doors, the best option would be to have recording studio doors. They have multiple layers and have a Sound transmission class of >50. They are quite heavy too. That, coupled with a double door "airlock system" would ensure that sound produced would be contained.
This creates another problem----ventilation. If you make your studio airtight, you also need a ventilation system that is quiet enough for use in the studio. If not, having air conditioning and airing the room periodically would work.
Room Acoustic:- Don't use a square room. Square rooms would result in standing waves, not something you would want in a recording studio. Rectangular rooms would be better.
Try to have a high ceiling. That would be better for the acoustics of the room.
Have the studio isolated from other parts of your house
Make sure that the room is big enough ( has length and width)
You can try experimenting with corner absorbers / traps. They are acoustic panels that are placed at corners to reduce echoes. Vary the angle of placement until you get satisfactory acoustic performance.

Han Woo Ri Korean BBQ

Hi, I went to Han Woo Ri Korean restaurant to have BBQ. some pictures here:
This is BEEF :) I had ordered another Pork ribs (7 pieces)
Overall, this is a good beef, and tastes good after it is barbecued to perfection.
In total it was MYR 194.70
Erm not bad more a meal like this.
Look forward to more reviews coming your way.

"Angry German kid does Physics homework "

Hi, the following is the re-creation of the Angry German kid . ======================================================================= "NOOB!What is this ?" "Physics homework eh?" " What the heck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 200 questions for the summer vacation!!!!! 200 questions are way too much." "OK think positive, I can complete them by the end of this month. OK this is going to be easy." 1st Question:
" What the ? What in the world is this? Quantum Mechanics, Schrödinger picture? I don't understand~~~~~~ d/dt ??? DON'T TELL ME IT IS DIFFERENTIATION AGAIN!!! This is getting confusing! I haven't even learnt Differentiation yet, what more Quantum Mechanics. This crazy teacher thinks he is so smart to give us university level topics"
"OK maybe the 2nd question is easier"
2nd Question: " OMG another difficult question !!" ( Prove Gibbs theorem)
" Anyone knows what the Gibbs theorem is ? Entropy of mixing? I only have an idea that this is from the topic of Thermodynamics. Another stalemate!!"
"OK looks like it is getting( 1/∞) easier"
3rd Question : " CRAP THIS!!!!"
" I don't believe Electromotive force , from electromagnetism is in this Paper!!!"
"I have a feeling it is related to Kirchhoff's circuit laws, but I just don't know how to connect the two together."
" This is annoying !!! STILL NO PROGRESS!!!"
OK FORGET THIS PAPER!!!! I DOUBT ANYONE FROM THIS SCHOOL CAN EVEN ANSWER 1 QUESTION CORRECTLY.
THE ONLY SOLUTION : DO THIS HOMEWORK WHEN YOU ARE IN THE PHYSICS COURSE AT UNIVERSITY LEVEL!!!!!
