Porsche Panamera...
BMW X6    WWF 64. 'Aventador' colour. Mean looking man...

Later there was a Jag... Couldn't tell the model. It was fast and disappeared quickly.

Some Malay lady in silver Porsche Cheyenne. Quite fast too...

After watching so many fast cars...
The Tuscon? Acceleration  is not something to be looking out for. Engine sounds strained while flooring the pedal.

Olecranon bursitis

Olecranon bursitis on left elbow. Cause of bursitis: Unknown--- it developed suddenly( although there was some dermatitis on the elbow area previously.) This could have caused the inflammation.
The olecranon bursitis seems to be improving. A few days ago, the swelling was rather large (tender and reddish around the area) It seems to increase in size if pressure is applied.
Attempted aspiration of the bursa. I think it's just blood and not infected.

Today: It's now pea sized and hopefully will dissolve. Pain has disappeared and so has the swelling.

DB 9

Wow there was an unregistered black Aston Martin DB 9 (with no no.plate) on a flatbed truck from Jalan Kampong Pandan to Jalan 1/76.

Damn those rims are huge... Red brake calipers. (not covers)
I think it's new...
The curves...

Friday 30 November 2012

DAMN YOOOUUUU THE BIOLOGY EXAM WAS ALL PASS YEAR QUESTIONSSSS...

NOOOOOOOOO

Sunday 18 November 2012

So many subjects... all so interesting

  • Medicine
  • Economics
  • Law
Whatever, I don't really mind, although Medicine seems to be the best choice.
Indoor football should allow scoring from inside the semi circle... haha.

Saturday 17 November 2012

DAMN THIS GALAXY S II

WHY CAN'T IT FOCUS PROPERLY... AND HAVE DECENT FPS... AND HAVE GOOD WHITE BALANCE...

Friday 16 November 2012

San Pellegrino....

Cool.
This stuff is so expensive... £1 for 1 litre. I could buy more petrol in Malaysia with that.

Wednesday 14 November 2012

DAMNNNNNN YOUUUUU  Someone bought the F50 XTRX SG in Blue on Mandm Direct. Hmmm...

NVM I found a pair at Newitts.com selling at clearance rate. Not bad...

The new Solinco Revolution string (blue)  on the Wilson Hammer 4 is not bad. The string is co-polyester and is supposed to be for power and control. I played quite well just now. Maybe my tennis skills have improved.
However, it does not feel like the Wilson NXT Tour 16 which I have on the other racket. That feel was quite good. Of course, that is multi-filament synthetic.

The Six.One 95 that I tried a few weeks ago was superb. The racket is heavier, but is more balanced.
It has a smaller head size  and the frame is thinner. Very good control... The one I saw had different strings for crosses and mains. Orange and white...
Pro racket... pro self customization...  pro player...

Wednesday 7 November 2012

OMG I ripped out my DVD drive and the whole tray came out...
Somehow I managed to fit the slider back (2 pieces of aluminium )
Then I tried to connect the ribbon but the connector is under a metal sheet. I bent the metal sheet while trying to open the door, put the ribbon in and locking the door back into place.
The sheet metal was a bit bent, but it still works. the sound of the drive running is quite different now.
But the drive still works... sometimes.
Now it doesn't. It makes a click-clark sound and an orange light flashes.
OH SNAP...

ZZZ what have I done??? I might as well use it without the DVD drive.
Damnnnnn

Wednesday 3 October 2012

What's your favourite subject? Medicine...
Gross anatomy  ahahaha...GG

Sunday 30 September 2012

I have Soft Ground Pro and my left  plant foot just slid right along the ball... WTF? There were 2 long parallel lines left on the ground.(caused by the two back studs dragging along) I had 13 on the back 11 on the front. The sole plate probably has too much earth... Some parts of the field are super soft ans some are quite firm...

The nylon safety studs are longer. They seem to stick to the ground and not release as easily as the aluminium ones. (It sticks to the ground too much I think---slight difficulty in releasing.)
I have yet to try the 13+15 mm combination.

Stud pressure... I didn't feel any, although your foot gets tired after striking too many times or running a lot.

Tuesday 18 September 2012

I did something silly with the Sondico studs and am now stuck with the studs on the right boot :|
I don't have the stud spanner.

The SG studs do not have much stud pressure anyway.
The silly studs have groves which prevent removal, unless torque is applied.(can't with bare hands)
I really need a Sondico stud spanner. Why must Sondico make studs with different groves?

Again, that silly Soccer Scene sent me a faulty ball. Damnnnnnn I knew this would happen.
Ok... don't buy footballs online.

Friday 14 September 2012

Oh cool, the times listed here are earlier than yesterday. Too bad I can only collect the parcel at 4PM.
This is excellent service. Out for delivery at 6:53 WOW...
Hmmm... I think it is going to be delivered soon.

Thursday 13 September 2012

The Soccer Scene delivery was quite impressive. I ordered before 2pm the previous day and the parcel was delivered by 10:22AM the next day... and it is just normal delivery. Hmmm... 03:34 is an unusual time to be processing parcels.
Unfortunately, they did not include the most anticipated item: boots :|
Then later today, I saw this ! Another parcel  that is going to be delivered.  Hats off to the people involved in the delivery and working at 3AM.

Can't wait for it to arrive at the depot, then in transit, followed by: Out for delivery and finally: Delivered!

Saturday 1 September 2012

PJ

Nice cars on the road today

We went too PJ to have dinner.
On the way:
There was a Ferrari at the traffic light. The back looked like a 599.
Then, an orange Audi R8. Looks boss. Too bad it wasn't going fast.
The white BMW X6 that I saw was quite fast. I can see the 'under carriage'.
' I think BMW lost the plot with the X6' I agree.
There was a Mazda RX-8.(Why would anyone own that?)

After dinner:
We went round and round, searching for Popiah. It was quite late and tried the Penang Nasi Kandar SS 2. Nope... closed.
There was a Bentley Continental GT (KCA 2)  That grey is not bad at night. It looks out of place though.
The letter B.

The ride in the C-coupe was quite good actually. Decent acceleration.

On the way back, there was a silver Maserati GT. Some traffic at Tun Razak and we were right behind.
Not a lot of noise because it was stuck in traffic.

Some comments:
The Maserati 222E was not a very nice car to drive.
The Ferrari 308 was better.

I would really like to see the MP4-12 C.

Sunday 26 August 2012

Vapor 8 problems?

I've read a lot about the Vapor 8s. Durability seems to be the major issue.

Very sad state-broken stud
The stud seems to be broken off where the hole is. The twin back studs seem to have problems supporting weight. (So many people have complained about the back studs breaking)
Of course, it didn't break where it was reinforced with the 'rib'. It broke off where the material became thinner (as a result of the hole in the stud)
Ooooo... That's pretty bad.

Is that picture even real? OMG look at how worn out the studs are.

The Mercurial vapor 8 line is a 'performance tire/tyre'. They go a good job on the pitch but durability is low. You have to keep changing them. :|  *Some sort of designer football boots that don't really last.

On the other hand:

Look at what I've found:

OK, this person 'Nate Robinson' has the Mango version-'suede finish'
Seriously 4 months? Sounds good. (I saw some people saying they had rips after 1 day -.-)
It's funny: I live next to the woods.

This feedback is extremely positive. 'no ripping or durability issues at all'

Saturday 25 August 2012

Ohhh...

I saw the new CTR 360 Maestri IIIs at Nike KLCC. They have the FG AND SG versions.

I also saw the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly III in the Red Plum/Volt colourway. MYR 690. Good price.
Size: US 10 1/2, UK 9 1/2. Very cool colour. 'MADE IN ITALY' ---That's my favourite part.
+Sense stud
+Flywire
+Carbon fiber

The Superflys seem to be really high tech and expensive. But now, since the release of the Vapor 8s, the price has dropped. The cheapest is £100 for UK 10 Red Plum. If colour is not an issue, then £115 will get you the one in granite (many sizes). I don't know why the ones in purple are so expensive. (£194.99)
All the crappy sizes.

Wednesday 22 August 2012

Nike Mercurial vapor VIII

I was just browsing through the replica Vapor VIII boots on Facebook.
Let me think of the Pros and Cons:

Pros:
  • Cheaper
  • Same / better durability  (so many people complain about the rips they are getting from their boots)  I think the replicas are better, ironically.
  • More choice of colourways-(having a 'custom Nike ID look' )
  • Less 'heartache' when the boots are broken/have rips/beyond repair.

Cons:
  • It's 'fake'.
  • People might tell they're fake.
  • Psychological effect (You know their replicas)
  • Might not have the Tepex glass fiber sole plate.
  • Material might be different
  • Comfort / safety might be compromised. (I doubt it really. Customers say that the replicas are also comfortable)
  • Heavier(Exact  words by the seller: Weight difference. By a few grams. Hmmm... I'm not sure what he meant by 'few grams' 5g? 50g? 100g?)

Saturday 18 August 2012

Wow the cars in Sri Hartamas:

1 Ferrari parked at the road side.
A Porsche Carrera
A CLS 55 AMG

Near some shops:
A Blue Porsche GT2RS
Audi A7
Lots of Porsche Cayennes.
Lots of Mercedes R-class MPVs
Lots of new BMW 3-series
E class... plenty
This Volvo driver sped off...

Wow rich area lol...

Thursday 16 August 2012

http://www.youtube.com/user/sankaqm5

His videos are so good. Hmmm...very very interesting.
Usually starts with :Hi friends and ends with: thanks for watching.

I think I'm more interested in these than my 'medic' friends. :|

Wednesday 15 August 2012

Aston Martin 2 door...(don't know the model) opposite hock choon
BMW 740Li, BMW 5-series GT.
White Nissan GT-R like a boss near British Council. Loud exhaust. Fancy decals on the car.
Rolls-Royce while coming back
Mercedes E250 Coupe at OCBC
Range Rover just outside Jalan Ampang Hilir.

Wow nice...

Monday 13 August 2012

Football jerseys

Jerseys that I like: (in no particular order)

  1. Manchester United Home  2012-2013
  2. Barcelona Away  2012-2013
  3. Arsenal Away  2012-2013
  4. USA Home  2012-2013
  5. Juventus Away 2011-2012

Bowling Alley seems to be working at Raintree Club.
I saw some people playing tennis at the indoor courts. Singles and Doubles.  They weren't very good.

Friday 10 August 2012

Yea USA 2, Japan 1 Women's soccer.
Mercurial Vapor seems to be the boot used by Carli Lloyd. Interesting.

Tuesday 7 August 2012

Canada vs USA Women's soccer.

OMG 7 goals in total... Nice.
Canada were unlucky because a penalty was awarded to USA for handball. Lol.
Once again you see a whole lot of Nike clash collection.
Wow that Vapor 8... looks so nice on the field.

Canada 3 USA 4
I hope USA win against Japan to take the Gold medal.

Went to eat at heaven cafe-organic food.

Vapor 8 ..... I want...

Monday 6 August 2012

USA soccer jersey HOME

I sent 2 messages to 2 online stores operating through facebook. 1 in Malaysia, 1 in Singapore.

All I got was:
I find that Kedai Jersi really strange. They have the Away Jersey, but not home -.-
WHY???

Hmm it has ventilation holes...

Hakka Restaurant

This white Bentley Continental GT/Supersports pulled up right in front and parked there. (BLD 8)
WOW... the car was admired by many. There were several groups. three men were standing at the back while waiting for their car. Then came another group. They were just admiring the car, starting from the back and proceeding to the side, then walked off. The passenger was sitting on a chair having a fag.
OMG I never knew the Bentley Continental GT looked so big. Black rims.
Pull up in front of Hakka Restaurant... Like a boss.

Drive a Bentley, be noticed... lol
Like the attention?

Monday 30 July 2012

Adidas Predator Lethal Zones

I went to Pavilion today and saw the LZs in Adidas. MYR 799... What the ???
At Sports Direct: GBP 112.99 for Blue
For the White/Black: GBP 99.99

Of course, the official price is GBP 160

Sunday 29 July 2012

Comparison between Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII FG and SG pro

FG

  • Lighter
  • Fore foot section is more flexible
  • Twin studs at the back
  • A bit cheaper
  • 'Quicker release from ground'

  • Not suitable on turf
  • Twin studs at the back might break
  • 'Studs are molded'
  • Only bladed studs

SG Pro
  • Interchangeable studs (screw-in)
  • More traction on SG
  • Mixture of FG molded bladed studs as well as aluminium SG studs.
  • 'Suitable for any condition' (HG, SG, FG)
  • More support at fore foot section

  • Heavier
  • Stiffer fore foot
  • A bit more expensive

Jalan Keranji 2

There is a really nice 3 storey house in Jalan Keranji 2. A white Audi R8 was parked inside, right in front of the house. There were several people dressed in a sort of 'bell boy' uniform outside.
Damn, that house looks so grand.

There was a Porsche Panamera parked outside the house next to it.

Saturday 28 July 2012

Pavilion

OMG Pavilion was so crowded today. Try finding a parking space at 8pm :|

I went to the Nike store in Pavilion and tried the Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII FG in US size 10/UK9.
Wow the fit was so perfect... The length was good. The toe box had a really nice fit. No stud pressure at all when I walked around. On seconds thoughts, the mid-foot was not that narrow. Now I know why Mercurials are so popular. I think I should follow the US size for Nike, because it's American. The UK sizes tend to be bigger. I like the solar red (pink) so much. Probably the nicest out of the clash collection. If I can't get the SG pro version in the clash collection, I might consider the seaweed colourway. I don't mind the FG version. (depending on the condition of the school field)

Malaysia is not very fast when it comes to bringing in new football boots. Shops don't have SG boots. I don't think they are popular here. In England yeah...
There is a new seaweed/volt colorway, but I'm not sure if I like that.

There is also the new CTR 360 Maestri III. Quite cool looking yellow /red with black. This model has fins at the side for passing as well as dimples at the mid-foot to increse friction for control and touch. (Kind of like the Adidas Predator Lethal Zones)

Looks like Nike is using a lot of Black/dark colours on their latest boots.

I really like the Juventus 2011-2012 Away jersey. It's pink with a star in front. Sadly, the new 2013 jersey is black.

Tuesday 24 July 2012

What??? Nike GS replica. They sure can copy anything.
Hahahaha... I might buy this for SGD 80 just for fun, since the originals are USD 300 and limited edition.
Almost 5 times cheaper X

MOTOR VEHICLES

    BIIITTTTCHHHHHHHHHH.......SUCHKA........ SO MAD NOW...

    Head of Mission's Official Car
    : XX-01-DC

That explains it. Today I saw a black Jaguar XJL while getting stuck in traffic. The other day, a BMW 7 series. Other days: Mercedes S-class. No bloody duty/tax.

Monday 23 July 2012

Mid Vallley

I went to Mid Valley with Jin,Dustin and Zach. We ate at Delicious. I had duck confit with spaghettini.Nice.
We watched an animated movie by Pixar 'Brave'. I was thinking... Scottish accent? Glasgow perhaps?
It turns out, Princess Merida's voice was by Kelly Macdonald. Interesting. I really like the accent.
We went for some bowling. Lolll 102,107. In the second game, I kept getting 9-9-9-9 -.-  (Unlucky)

I also went to the Nike Store in Mid Valley. I found the Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII FG clash collection colourway and tried it on. That particular one was US 11/UK10. Hmm... it was too big in the fore foot section. I think US10.5/UK9.5 (out of stock) will be fine. I did not try the US10/UK9. As expected, the mid-foot section was narrow. I really like the material.
Wow the price: MYR769 (I saw the price online)
The down side: MADE IN CHINA ???? Seriously? I was expecting Bosnia. At least that is made in Europe.

The shoe size tag was not on the tongue (like the ones that are made in Bosnia), but at the side.
The store didn't seem to have SG boots.

Sunday 15 July 2012

Anything goes when you have a   1 license plate (WSX 1) and an Audi Q7 3.0 Hahaha...
The Audi was trying to turn right, but unfortunately was in the wrong lane. It was alright. It just went in front of the first car and turned right. Another car behind it followed suit.

That was so funny. The first car did nothing to prevent that.

WOW the lights on the Audi... stunning.

Tuesday 10 July 2012

Nike GS

The Nike GS looks quite interesting.
It's limited edition. It's more limited than I thought it would be. 2012 pairs
I was expecting 5000 or something.
The GS is supposed to be very green.
Lightest at 160g
Pebax Renu  + TPU sole plate

Price: $300
Hmm... $100 more expensive than the Vapor 8.

The colourway looks nice. Black and green.
However, I still like the Mercurial VIII's Solar Red and also the glass fiber sole plate.

Monday 9 July 2012

I just realised that "The Soccer Scene website is operated by SportsDirect.com"
Trolll

But what I don't understand is: There is no Mercurial Vapor VIII SG Pro on the Sports Direct Website.

The SG Pro version is tempting. Just £3 more than the FG version.

Let's compare the differences:

FG:
More flexible (top of sole plate has 1 layer of glass fiber. Bottom has 2 layers)
Lighter

Saturday 7 July 2012

Yeah, new stock from Sports Direct.

NIKE MERCURIAL VAPOR VIII FG CLASH COLLECTION (SOLAR RED)
7,8,9,10,11,12

OMG nice... so many sizes.

GBP 109.99
This seems to be the price.
The Mango/Sail versions are priced at GBP 99.99 at Sports Direct. Aw man £10 more for the Clash collection :|

I have seen £80 price tag  before online(Mango), but it was sold out.

Whereas for the SG Pro version, the price seems to be GBP 112.99 for both the Clash collection and the Mango colourways. (Soccer Scene)

Sports Direct is clearly not encouraging people to buy the Vapor VIIs (same price as the Vapor VIIIs and plenty of stock)
Very enticing XX
Please make the Vapor 8s cheaper.

Monday 2 July 2012

The Nike Mercurial Vapor VIIIs are disappearing fast on Sports Direct :| I have noticed the Solar Red  FG edition literally disappearing from the Sports Direct. The size numbers keep diminishing (disappearing) with each passing minute and them poof...gone. Even the mango/sail version is not spared. The sizes keep disappearing... Of course there is plenty of stock for the Miracle, Glide, Victory ranges. Interesting.
The Solar Red FG version costs £109.99 . Gone.
Rich Brits...

The Mango FG version: Only 7,10 left. (Retailing at £99.99)  This price is the same as the Vapor VII. That has plenty of stock. I can understand why so many people want the Vapor 8s.

Thursday 21 June 2012

I somehow managed to stuff more laundry into my suitcase.

Wednesday 13 June 2012

Physics lesson was fun... Water propelled rockets...

*Physics teacher has a good football (much better than the school's football) Adidas F50 yellow...what an irony.

Wednesday 9 May 2012

Ok, 2 more days to do the coursework. GG...
Man, I would happily do the coursework after AS exams. But that's not what the teacher has in mind.
Start to think about second coursework??? I'm not even done with the first.
OMG BIOLOGY...  JANUARY 2011 IS QUITE HARD :(

ZZZ I'M SO SCARED OF BIOLOGY NOW.

Sunday 6 May 2012

Seriously, HSBC's codes expire so damn fast... What if your Internet connection was slow...

Wish I was a pro Mathematician and could work out the algorithm. (Although they are supposed to be unguessable)  for HSBC's secure key as well as Barclay's PINsentry. The Barclay's Pinsentry actually works with my HSBC Debit card, even the PIN was confirmed to be correct. The PINsentry is not time sensitive.

Sunday 22 April 2012

Hmmm, almost all the videos include some Biology in it... That's really cool...
It's going to be a busy day later... Do Physics, Biology and English... Lol who says British women are the least attractive?

Smoothwall keeps freaking blocking more and more things... Just today, it forces Youtube Safety: On... interesting... They blocked Youtube history...

You can try viewing videos through posting the link and viewing the preview in Facebook...

NTLM Authentication bla bla bla was added... I can't even access internet through Realplayer ??? I have no idea what to use for login 'Windows Security'

Internet will be disastrous from today onwards...

SO pissed off now... I can't even view pictures /videos on Facebook ??? zzz

Looks like it's reduced in functionality.
Google's site certificate is not trusted and I can't access any Google website -.-

Saturday 24 March 2012

F12 Berlinetta

WTH? I just messed up the last question in C2. Spent too much time on trig graphs :|

Physics--- I couldn't do it...

Friday 23 March 2012

OK I seem to be able to login on Facebook mobile and Skype is working.

DAMN I floundered through Biology...
LOL the internet keeps changing. Just now, Facebook and Youtube was blocked. (At about 4-5pm) I don't know what has been done. NOW, I can't even use other applications except web browsing -.- No Skype.
On the Samsung GSII, no Facebook app, no Google Play, no Twitter. Only some things  worked like: Currency app, Bloomberg, BBC, News

This is confusing. Previously, on my Samsung, I could access the Facebook and twitter app without  logging in.(Although the Facebook app was reduced in functionality) Now, there is no way to access the apps, because the problem is with the network and not the phone. Web browsers seem to be the only things that work

Interestingly, I can sign in to Skype on the Samsung...
The Skype on my laptop is suggesting that the Wi-Fi network is private/closed.

Thursday 22 March 2012

Biology tomorrow....
Gahhhhh Physics ISA was ok. I think I did better this time.

AS English: I totally wrote 6 paragraphs of waffle. Not kidding... The first text: Advertisement for Amnesty International Credit Card... I didn't like that. I chose the speech by then Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The people sitting on the right: ELLA 1--- like a boss.
The people sitting on the furthest right: Spanish...

Friday 16 March 2012

Ok the commentary is done, finally. I handed it in 2 minutes before 4pm, like a boss. lol

Now: The power point ._.

Physics ISA and Biology EMPA later today...
I can't believe there are some inter boarding house games a day before Biology 1 -.-

Thursday 15 March 2012

AS English? I'm doing more of Economics/Business... :| Oh the irony is unbearable...

SHARP EL-W506

Yea, I picked up my calculator from the mailroom. It came on the 13th of March and it was ordered online on the 11th of March. Cool. Excellent service.. . SHARP EL-W506. The W for WriteView.
The display is a bit wider. The solar panel... great. It is supposed to have 556 functions. The menu in the calculator looks really complicated. Need some time to get used to. Of course, this model has differentiation, integration, log to any base, Summation, Matrix etc... The coolest feature: CNST, the constant button. All the useful constants.... Really useful in Physics, if you don't have a data sheet. It also has a conversion function. It even has index notation prefixes just in case you can't remember them. WriteView is impressive, but it is NOT designed for speed. So, I'd rather turn that off if I need fast results.

The EL-W506 is slightly longer than the EL-506WS.Some buttons have a different location.
For the colour wise, the EL-W506 is Black and the EL-506WS I have seems to be dark blue.
If I ever buy football boots,

NIKE TIEMPO LEGEND IV ELITE

----looks pretty nice.
Price is erm... not.
What the ????

£275.00  Are you kidding, twice as expensive as the non-elite model. I guess the carbon fiber is expensive.

OK, maybe

NIKE TIEMPO FLIGHT ... cheaper, £85.00 (but still it's quite pricey)

I was thinking of something under £40. I could buy the Adidas F10 TRX FG. haha (I have the Adidas F10 IN) If I buy the same colour---slime + white with blue stripes... lol that's matching.

Very funny the price difference between the F10 and F50 is huge !!! OK I have looked at the F50s before. They are so ridiculously light.

The Tiempo IV Elite should be interesting with kangaroo leather... supposedly the leather with the highest tensile strength.

Saturday 10 March 2012

WTF?

English: 2 style models & 1 commentary (by Thursday)
Biology:  Tuesday test revsision. EMPA Task 1 on Monday
Physics: ISA worksheet (by Monday). Revise Chapter 1&2 revision for Tuesday test. ISA test on Friday.
Chemistry: Enthalphy change definitions. (test on Monday) ----Qualitative practical on Tuesday.
Maths: C2 Differentiation questions. Exercise 9C: 1,2 Exercise 9D 5,7

OMG WHAT?

Sony TX1 vs Samsung Galaxy S II

The Samsung Galaxy performed decently.

Complaints:
*Auto-focus in video mode is quite crappy. (Doesn't focus very well)
*Exposure was not satisfactory. (too bright...everything was white... have to configure it manually to get better results)
*It's really hard to take still pictures with this camera.
*Zoom function was too abrupt.
*I was worried the microphone couldn't handle the noise level of the drums... sure enough.

*The Full HD 1080 doesn't really mean anything in terms of quality.

The Sony TX1, on the other hand,
*had 'outstanding low-light performance' as claimed by the manufacturer.
*Decent auto-focus in video mode. (Excellent in still picture mode)
*Microphone is not bad.
*Exposure is quite good
* Ergonomic(unlike the Galaxy)

I would like to try the Sony NEX-7 (It's really expensive for a mirror-less interchangeable lens camera)
About £1000. OMG -.- That can buy a decent and proper 'full-frame' DSLR.
If I were to record live shows, I could use an NEX 5/7 with an external microphone.

The latest one is the:

Canon EOS 5D Mark III

COOL... Only £3000...

They use an ALLEN & HEATH mixer. Good brand... English. There is a stereo overhead microphone. (pointing in different directions)... don't know if it really works.

There was a single foldback speaker (stage monitor). At least there was 1.
They did seem to use electro/electro-acoustic instruments. The first electro-acoustic guitar performance: it was connected to the speakers. There might be a DI box. There were also subsequent performances involving electro-acoustic guitars. There was a electric bass guitar. That was connected to an amp directly.

This concert doesn't seem to require the extensive use of microphones... haha.

Saturday 3 March 2012

Crap this S1...
Not very nice.

At least, Chemistry was better.

LOL I keep having problems with the new '£50 note'. LOL today I was buying a doner kebab and I gave the 'new £50 note' The store owner was quite surprised. he even used a marker to test the note, held it against the light... bla bla bla... All staring in amazement... 'It's new, we've never seen it before.' LOL the irony... You must be rich... zzz seriously? Is it that uncommon?

I had the SAME problem 2 weeks ago at ASDA. The cashier was like 'feels funny' *asks for assistance* It's all right, probably new... I had no problems the first time at ASDA.

I like how the teller at Barclays made no comment whatsoever about the £50 notes. It's like*gladly accepts-the more the better.

HAHAHA bad service at HSBC.... the premier banking looks better.
LOL there seems to have a lot of problem with HSBC, pertaining to their cards.

Black Maserati Gran Turismo
Classic Bentley Mulsanne
Modern bentley
Black Porsche Panamera S
Black Audi A7

Lol why are all the nice cars in Black?

Surprisingly, the Mercedes Benz C is not very common. In Singapore, everyone has a C/E -class.(literally)

They drive Fords too. Opel  (Vauxhall as it is know in the UK) is common. The Insignia is not bad.

Diesel cars are ok, except that the engine sounds distinctively different.

Wednesday 22 February 2012

Half term just started and LOL there was a blue Peugeot 407 parked outside the college main hall entrance...same blue. I thought my parents were going to fetch me from school haha... Sometimes, there is a Passat (one of the day student's parent's car)

Passat FTW(hopefully) I really like the VW CC / Passat CC.

NOT FAIR SILLY MALAYSIA CAR PRICES.

BUY A VW CC IN THE UK... (STILL CHEAPER THAN MALAYSIA) HAHAHA not funny.

I wouldn't say the cost of living in Malaysia is low, because the cost of 'foreign' cars outweigh everything else. (especially BMW) lol...

Tuesday 21 February 2012

Over here in college, it seems to be Blackberry. In Singapore iPhones galore... haha So it's like:

Android < iPhone < Blackberry

ENGLISH :)

Now I have to do an English essay...That's very encouraging :| I'm in the same position as the students in the  A-level English class.

I WANT MY ENGLISH TO BE GOOD...(AS GOOD AS THE BRITS). It's no surprise that the student mentor for English is a Brit.

Well, at least I can do the essay, unlike Physics...
Wish I could convert my AC Wi-Fi signal to a DC type...

Monday 20 February 2012

DAMN THIS... PHYSICS... THE ELECTRICITY TEST SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. RUBBISH...
'DIDN'T WORK OUT THE RANGE', 'CORRECT VALUES FOR EQUATION OF RESISTIVITY, BUT FAILED TO COMPUTE THE VALUE PROPERLY -.- 2MARKS ZZZZZZ'
THE CIRCUIT WAS DAMN SILLY... PUT IN WRONG VALUES INTO THE EQUATION -.- --\ AT LEAST 5 MARKS ...

WAVES... WAS WORST... NOO I LOST 1 MARK BECAUSE OF THE STUPID OPTICAL FIBRE...
MEASURING THE SLITS -.-

Sunday 19 February 2012

PHYSICS...zzz Probably the worst test ever... I skipped the stupid graph and it was 6 marks. ... Another light pattern was worth 12 marks -.-

Sunday 12 February 2012

Did a lot of sports today.

I had Archery from 10p.m to 12p.m Just in time for brunch. Archery was not bad. It turned out I was using a small bow. Now the larger bow is heavier :|

I lay in bed for a while, before doing some Physics -spectra and energy levels. I then went to the staff room to look for Mrs Kemp. I got a little help in Physics and continued to complete some more.

3:50p.m... time for indoor football. When I got to the sports hall, they were still playing badminton.
Perspired a lot during the session. During intervals, I tried some squash. Surprisingly, the squash courts were in good condition. That's nice. Rackets and squash balls were also available. I played squash for a while with Kenneth. The squash ball had double yellow dots on it --- it's supposed to be slow and have very low bounce. (which explained why it didn't bounce very well.

The futsal session was really fun...

Saturday 11 February 2012

I like how no one seems to mention Physics in their subject combination. It's always Bio / Chem.
Great... That's very encouraging...

I think this is good:

English
Maths
Biology
Chemistry
Geography

(If there are no constrains-hence the absence if Physics) I like Geography, especially human Geography.
OMG the blondes/brunettes are soo insanely attractive...especially those with a posh 'English' accent. That's really nice.
White girls FTW...
White girls... Gorgeous white girls...

Wednesday 8 February 2012

I messed up Biology really badly. Crap man. I didn't include the key words and didn't get the marks -.-
Loss about 10 marks to that. zzz

Sunday 5 February 2012

Yeah, I had Archery today. Cool, I helped myself to 5 arrows. The best I could do was the second yellow concentric circle. Need steady hands ... If you hear twang... followed by a resounding thud, chances are you hit something. If you hear a clank... you know you missed it completely. No instructor today, so Mr Leon was in charge. The sight worked quite well after a couple of adjustments.

Saturday 28 January 2012

Saturday test -.-

YAY

I went to Barclays today and finally ordered the ATM card for the savings account. I also handed in the tax exemption form. Hmmm the card should arrive on Wednesday. ISA Saver Issue 1 has a tax-free interest of 2.02% (not bad, but you can only deposit  £5,340 per tax year---which is going to end soon)

The monthly savings has a higher interest rate of 3.25% ---nice,but  no more than 12 monthly deposits (including the initial deposit), each of at least £20 but not more than £250, up to a maximum of £3,000 in the first year. Very good if you hardly/never touch your money. If you withdraw anything=lower interest :|

It's not funny when your calculator gets FROZEN during a statistics test -.-  Seriously, SHARP calculators have a big problem. The first SHARP I had didn't work--- ALSO DURING A MATHS EXAM IN SEC 3 ******** Fortunately I had a CASIO. Now, it freaking froze on me. It worked after a while, but who would take a chance next time? Nooo the Maths was messed up.

At least, it was fine during Chemistry.
Definitely have more than 1 calculator next time.

Sunday 22 January 2012

FREAKKKKKKK Why the hell must there be a fire drill at night. This is the 3rd time already.
Lol I was using earbuds and couldn't hear the alarm, even though it was in my room.
Yeah, finally went to Barclays Bank in Castle Street Shrewsbury. I deposited some money and enquired about the PIN. The banker reordered the PIN. Hopefully, it will come this time. Wow I like that PIN Sentry card reader. Looks so cool when I saw it at the counter. Hopefully, that will be in the mail too.

I get to go upstairs, sit down and talk to a Personal Banker, Paula Donnelly

Appointment next week to apply for ATM card for savings.

Wednesday 18 January 2012

What I've noticed about the Wi-Fi here is that the speed alternates between upload & download when loading a Youtube video. -.- No fast video downloads.

Monday 16 January 2012

I checked my mail in the mailroom. Wow Barclays PLC sent me a stack of things.

Let's see:

1 cheque book
1 giro credit booklet
1 Barclays Visa Debit Card

Letters for current & savings were also sent. There was also the online banking letter.

The only thing missing ? The PIN for the Debit Card... zzz
The e-mail also mentioned the PIN Sentry card reader, which I have yet to receive.

YAY

YEAH INTERNET IS FAST NOW 48ms 15.56 Mbps upload 12.92 Mbps upload.
Lol I'm such a joker.

I don't know why, but Internet is increasingly difficult to access at night. (probably going to turn it off). It was not possible to login using my laptop. It just kept showing waiting for 192.168.44.4
It seems strange that I can log in and access internet on my phone. So, what I decided to do, was to tether the working Wi-Fi connection from the Galaxy S II to my laptop. Haha it actually works.

Also, I find that there is something odd on the galaxy S II. I do not need to login using my 'smooth wall' account to use Facebook (the mobile Android app) However, usage without logging in is limited and viewing of photos/videos cannot be carried out.

Lol Internet is fine at 12:39AM

Sunday 15 January 2012

THAT EXPLAINS IT -.-

I'm sharing Wi-Fi with 15+ people ? zzz bad timing

Anyway, I think Youtube videos are throttled, because even if the actual speed appears to be 3 Mbps, it doesn't load like a 3 Mbps speed. :| Ping to Coventry is about 200ms. (not very impressive)

HAHAHA I was first in the supper queue. 'Mate 5 minutes time' or 'Not ready until 5 minutes time' lol
No plans for today. I went through the heart worksheets for Biology.
Next is Physics.

Haha, at least I can watch BBC online in the UK.

Well this wireless internet is not really reliable. Sometimes it can be 0.5Mbps and sometimes it can be 10Mbps

-.-

Saturday 14 January 2012

The Maths and Chemistry tests were doable.

Yea I got to go to Shrewsbury town today.  I bought blueberries 300g, cherries 250g, red seedless grapes 500g, all at £2 each. I have tried the blueberries and grapes. They are quite good. I also bought some snacks from Marks & Spencer. We walked around inside the mall... nothing much in there.
Hmmm, where do all these people live ?

I have to step out at 10:30 pm and go to the main hall. Very nice.

Friday 13 January 2012

I'm going for 2nd Prep soon.
Chemistry test .... tomorrow.

Thursday 12 January 2012

Wednesday 11 January 2012

Biology was fine, about the heart with additional information like chordae tendineae, papillary muscles and the elastic recoil
We have started waves in Physics, with all that polarizing filters and light.

Oh man, that Cognitive Ability Test was really bad. It lasted for 3 hours. Doesn't make sense at all lol...
So many number patterns... dislike that now. Folding paper ? Come on.

At least, future Wednesdays don't have to be spent like this again.

Monday 9 January 2012

Yea, lessons started today. Not bad. I shall see what is there to come. The English looks very interesting, analysing and creating texts. I wish I was good in that.

Sunday 8 January 2012

Wow today was fun. (The high ropes) Yea I managed to climb to the top of the pole and stood on the sea-saw. I also climbed all the way to the top of a pole, stood on the platform and walked off the edge. Love the wind and acceleration.

Wahahaha lessons begin tomorrow.

Sunday 1 January 2012

Lol on SQ 322 to LHR, so many people were holding British Passports and I got a little jealous hahaha...
EU passport = win.

Harrods

I just got back from Harrods... Wonderful food there. I had Oysters, rib eye bone-in for dinner. That was good. Why are there so many hawt white girls? (especially the blondes/brunettes).......

I've seen some responses to this.
One said white girls make you smile, asian girls don't. Hahaha
