3rd last day of school

Hi, Today is Wednesday, 30 days from 28th September 2009.

For Chinese, we went through how to write a News report. After that we headed to computer Lab to do the survey. It was for individual subject teachers. Had PE then recess.

Geography was in Geography room. During E.lit, Mr Wee came in and we did the project on Spain.

Maths, Mr Koh came instead of Mr tong, to teach indices..

Common Test

Today was the Common Test for Science. Since Mr. Wee said it was quite difficult. I think I can only get 70%, maybe ? This was considerably more difficult, compared to the previous tests. ((((The topics tested now, remind me of my Primary 6 Science teacher. You know, he will teach anything under the sun, EXCEPT our Primary School syllabus. What a joke... he said you will have read up yourself. He covered Heart & Digestion too.A bit too much information then, but now it's starting to be useful. )))) Today we had English and E.lit. For E.lit, we had an impromptu test. We are supposed to write a poem

Run for cancer

Hi, Today we went to East Coast park for the run against cancer. It was at Carpark E2. Sponsored by Singtel. In actual fact, we needed to pay $18, but the school paid for us. I took about 1 hour to run 5 km. Finished at 9 a.m , redeemed our drinks and apple. We watched the magic show, then there is a South African drum performance. Well, I walked about 8km to reach home.Meanwhile, some went to Parkway Parade on the way. .....

Late for school

Oh today is such a sad day, It was unfortunate that I was late today, I haven't tried the new rule yet, so this is my very first time. We are supposed to run around the very tiny little fountain near the General Office for 5 minutes. I take about 10 seconds run around the circumference of the fountain. It's about 10 m in diameter, so logically, a fountain with 1m in diameter should take me 1 sec :)

CCA

Hi, Today we had English, Science, chinese Maths. Done! For English, we did introductory sentences. Science, finished digestion gave back Science test. Chinese, we did a Composition. I just finished on time though. Maths, got back Maths test. Went CO at 1.50p.m. At about 3.30p.m, there was a break. There is a Geography test tomorrow? Hmm

We had E lit today. For Science, we finished the Chapter, so there is no need to come for supplementary lessons for Science tomorrow. ACC, we learnt how to calligraph our surname. Recess, then Geography, there was the mind-map. Malay, handed in E-learning assignments. Math, we had a open book class test. Plotting graphs? Again. Went home ....

Maths Common Test

Hi,

Today we had Maths Common Test? I also Don't know what.

For English, we are doing argumentative essay.

PE was training first. NAPHA is next week. Again, there was this distinct Erhu sound coming from the block of flats. Must have practiced everyday.

English Literature: Discussed about the picturesque pictures.

Finally we had English Presentation about Mitch Albom. Unfortunately no working audio.

After that we went to Church to have SEL. Topic: Addiction

By the way, anyone thinks I am addicted to CO? No right? Good... Just neutral ‡††‡ ok.

First Day of Term 3

Hello,

Today is the first day of Term 3, and already there is a common test on the books we have read. There was English. We need to hand in the Summary by Thursday.

After that P.E, by Mr Hoo. We did warm up and ran around the field for 10 mins. There was somebody playing the Erhu in one of the flats. Could tell the lound and distinct sound.......We have P.E tomorrow again. It seems we are going to do our five stations very soon.

Recess was 1015 to 1100 At least that was better than what we had last term. (1100 to 1145) Earlier recess, less hungry.

English Literature, Ms. Lily Koh. Today was an introduction. Use alliterations of your name to introduce yourself. Tomorrow we need to meet outside TEN so we can use the facilities there. Back to English, we sat in rows and took turns to talk about certain topics: Chocolates, Least favourite food, Breakfast, Home-Based learning. You can guess what Terence was most enthusiastic about.

After that for SEL, we went to the tower hall to have the Quality of School Experience (QSE) briefing by Mr Yeow. we will be conducting the survey on the next three days to come.

Went home after that...

Science project

Hi. We met up as a group today. With Yu Yang, Daniel & Terence as the Science group members. They didn't bring anything, so Yu Yang brought the poster home and asked Terence and Daniel to send him the research. Daniel and Terence had Choir from 9 to 5 suppose. they are not done at this present moment. They have performance, that's why. Ticket charge $15 + $1 sistic charge. on 30th June. Daniel brought a HP pocket PC, touchscreen, unfortunately NO WI-FI. Started at 9.30a.m , ended at 10.30 p.m . Terence brought a lot of things, but no Science research. It totally irrelevant. ALL the stuff he brought = Computer freak

So many brochures, all on Electronics, desktops, Graphics Card, Mobile Phones, Computer Software course, just to name a few. he even recommended me to buy some stuff.

I think I 'll wait for Windows 7. October 22nd

English Group

Hi,

I met up with my Science group today. With Cai Hao, Yu Yang & Yu Xuan.It was from 1.45p.m to 5 p.m. It is quite long because Cai Hao wants everything to be perfect. We did a Power Point on Mitch Albom and his books. Yu Xuan used his mother's Fujitsu laptop, quite nice, with the new technology. We watched some videos in the process.
