Concourse-Canteen Sound

I would like to comment on the sound set up. The speakers appear to be quite small (<100 Watt). On the Concourse side, there is a rack mounted road case.

On closer inspection, there is a 8-channel Yamaha mixer on the top, followed by a CD player below it. Below the CD player, there is a rack mounted Graphic Equalizer, below that there are 2 "Professional P.A amplifiers" as stated on the console. They seem to be quite a normal set-up.

When the song (Friday ) was played, they turned up too much gain -.- The whole song was distorted. You can hear very loud static sounds from the speakers. The speakers sound like they were going to blow...

There are 2 scenarios:

1. The amplifiers are underpowered.

2. The speakers are underpowered.
