I have Soft Ground Pro and my left plant foot just slid right along the ball... WTF? There were 2 long parallel lines left on the ground.(caused by the two back studs dragging along) I had 13 on the back 11 on the front. The sole plate probably has too much earth... Some parts of the field are super soft ans some are quite firm...
The nylon safety studs are longer. They seem to stick to the ground and not release as easily as the aluminium ones. (It sticks to the ground too much I think---slight difficulty in releasing.)
I have yet to try the 13+15 mm combination.
Stud pressure... I didn't feel any, although your foot gets tired after striking too many times or running a lot.

Vapor 8 problems?
I've read a lot about the Vapor 8s. Durability seems to be the major issue.
The stud seems to be broken off where the hole is. The twin back studs seem to have problems supporting weight. (So many people have complained about the back studs breaking)

| Very sad state-broken stud |
Of course, it didn't break where it was reinforced with the 'rib'. It broke off where the material became thinner (as a result of the hole in the stud)
Is that picture even real? OMG look at how worn out the studs are.

| Ooooo... That's pretty bad. |

The Mercurial vapor 8 line is a 'performance tire/tyre'. They go a good job on the pitch but durability is low. You have to keep changing them. :| *Some sort of designer football boots that don't really last.

Nike Mercurial vapor VIII
I was just browsing through the replica Vapor VIII boots on Facebook.
Let me think of the Pros and Cons:
Pros:
Let me think of the Pros and Cons:
Pros:
- Cheaper
- Same / better durability (so many people complain about the rips they are getting from their boots) I think the replicas are better, ironically.
- More choice of colourways-(having a 'custom Nike ID look' )
- Less 'heartache' when the boots are broken/have rips/beyond repair.
Cons:
- It's 'fake'.
- People might tell they're fake.
- Psychological effect (You know their replicas)
- Might not have the Tepex glass fiber sole plate.
- Material might be different
- Comfort / safety might be compromised. (I doubt it really. Customers say that the replicas are also comfortable)
- Heavier(Exact words by the seller: Weight difference. By a few grams. Hmmm... I'm not sure what he meant by 'few grams' 5g? 50g? 100g?)

Comparison between Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII FG and SG pro
FG
- Lighter
- Fore foot section is more flexible
- Twin studs at the back
- A bit cheaper
- 'Quicker release from ground'
- Not suitable on turf
- Twin studs at the back might break
- 'Studs are molded'
- Only bladed studs
SG Pro
- Interchangeable studs (screw-in)
- More traction on SG
- Mixture of FG molded bladed studs as well as aluminium SG studs.
- 'Suitable for any condition' (HG, SG, FG)
- More support at fore foot section
- Heavier
- Stiffer fore foot
- A bit more expensive

Pavilion
OMG Pavilion was so crowded today. Try finding a parking space at 8pm :|
I went to the Nike store in Pavilion and tried the Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII FG in US size 10/UK9.
Wow the fit was so perfect... The length was good. The toe box had a really nice fit. No stud pressure at all when I walked around. On seconds thoughts, the mid-foot was not that narrow. Now I know why Mercurials are so popular. I think I should follow the US size for Nike, because it's American. The UK sizes tend to be bigger. I like the solar red (pink) so much. Probably the nicest out of the clash collection. If I can't get the SG pro version in the clash collection, I might consider the seaweed colourway. I don't mind the FG version. (depending on the condition of the school field)
Malaysia is not very fast when it comes to bringing in new football boots. Shops don't have SG boots. I don't think they are popular here. In England yeah...
There is a new seaweed/volt colorway, but I'm not sure if I like that.
There is also the new CTR 360 Maestri III. Quite cool looking yellow /red with black. This model has fins at the side for passing as well as dimples at the mid-foot to increse friction for control and touch. (Kind of like the Adidas Predator Lethal Zones)
Looks like Nike is using a lot of Black/dark colours on their latest boots.
I really like the Juventus 2011-2012 Away jersey. It's pink with a star in front. Sadly, the new 2013 jersey is black.

Mid Vallley
I went to Mid Valley with Jin,Dustin and Zach. We ate at Delicious. I had duck confit with spaghettini.Nice.
We watched an animated movie by Pixar 'Brave'. I was thinking... Scottish accent? Glasgow perhaps?
It turns out, Princess Merida's voice was by Kelly Macdonald. Interesting. I really like the accent.
We went for some bowling. Lolll 102,107. In the second game, I kept getting 9-9-9-9 -.- (Unlucky)
I also went to the Nike Store in Mid Valley. I found the Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII FG clash collection colourway and tried it on. That particular one was US 11/UK10. Hmm... it was too big in the fore foot section. I think US10.5/UK9.5 (out of stock) will be fine. I did not try the US10/UK9. As expected, the mid-foot section was narrow. I really like the material.
Wow the price: MYR769 (I saw the price online)
The down side: MADE IN CHINA ???? Seriously? I was expecting Bosnia. At least that is made in Europe.
The shoe size tag was not on the tongue (like the ones that are made in Bosnia), but at the side.
The store didn't seem to have SG boots.
